To summarize my experience:
After picking up the car, they called me to tell me the last person had left their groceries in the trunk and the groceries needed to be returned, causing another trip to their offices.
At pick up, I was told the insurance company had only authorized the car for 2 days but I shouldn't worry as they would reconcile payment after I returned the car. Additionally, I was told if any damage happened to the car that even though the insurance company would pay for the damage I would be liable for a 'lost revenue' charge equal to the daily rental rate times how ever many days it took Enterprise to get the damage fixed. The example used was if I picked up a rock chip in the windshield and it took 2 weeks to fix, I would be liable for roughly $600 in 'lost revenue' charges. I checked with both the insurance company and my insurance company about this and both said this was not covered. Such a charge would be out-of-pocket and my responsibility.
Prompt personalized attention and quick processing! I will continue getting my rentals at the Arvada/Kipling location!
My contact has been mostly with Marcells B. though they are all great.
Great service from the start and the reps were friendly and made sure my needs were met. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone Thank you so much
A fellow crashed into my daughter's car. His insurance company said they would pay for a rental car while mine was being fixed and that Enterprise was their selected provider. Hence my dealing with the company.
Consistently excellent service. Professional in their Customer Service.
Check your itemized receipt from this location!!!
Although I was the one to pick up the car, my daughter was going to drive it. I had to go through 4 separate contacts and my daughter and I had to go to their offices 3 times before they actually listed my daughter as being authorized to drive the car.
This location tried to charge me $600 for adding my husband to my rental, a service that is provided free of charge at every other enterprise location!
As a caveat, many of the things that follow are really results of corporate policy rather than this individual site.
The enterprise franchise also called me to come in to "renew" my contract. Turns out they were only trying to do that so that they could obtain the payment from State Farm (my insurance company). My claim is not finished yet, my car is still in the shop, but they wanted me to take time out of my busy schedule to come in and "renew" the contract simply so they could be paid. They did not explain to me that this is what they wanted, instead, they tried to present it as the only option for me to continue with my rental and then when I asked more about it, they weren't even sure if they could do that. Then, the staff wanted me to wait in the store while they called around to "try and figure this out" (their words, not mine.) Why call me and ask me to come in if you are not even sure what you are doing? This felt extremely unprofessional, and a waste of my time. I am noticing that enterprise expects the customers to do a lot for their fleet vehicles on the customer's own time. For example: the tire pressure was at an unsafe, low level in the first rental they gave me, and they expected me to take time out of my work day to go and get the tire replaced. This is a sad expectation that enterprise has from their customers. It is a shame that this branch is so awful as they are in such a great location (close to the city, mountains, and highways). I would encourage anyone to go to the locations in Aurora, or at least further east of Wheat Ridge. You will not get good service if you use this location!
Even though the staff was friendly, the consistent problems around getting legal documents to reflect what I was being told, getting proper authorizations documented and that I was potentially liable for hundreds of dollars in costs for events totally beyond my control has completely put me off doing business with Enterprise. I would say: "Let the buyer beware."
Our Ford Super Duty was exceptionally clean and fresh. Mallory was kind enough to pick me up at our house to begin the rental process. Mallory was very courteous & professional. Thank you Mallory!!! Emily & Bailey were great too. Our experience at Enterprise Wheat Ridge CO was FANTASTIC! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! God bless you!
Upon returning the car, I was told Enterprise would contact me when the transaction was updated with the insurance company authorization for the additional days and my part of the transaction could be closed. After several days, I called Enterprise for status and was told the transaction was complete. However, it took 2 tries to get them to issue a statement that showed I had no amount due (i.e. I didn't owe them money) for my records. The first attempt still showed I owed Enterprise for the total rental charge.
