Usually I have a great experiences at this store but something happen today that I have to share. I went into Applejack's this afternoon and found that they had a rare bottle of bourbon in the back that I had been searching for. I asked the rep on the floor if I could purchase one bottle in which he stated that he needed to speak to his manager. The same person came back a couple minutes later stating that those bottles are saved for people that shop there often and that I couldn't have one. I accepted his response and left. The issue I have is that the manager never came out from the back to speak to me. If he did I would have gave him the business card of the floor rep that I speak to there on a weekly basis (usually in the mornings). The manager didn't look me up in the computer either to check my purchase history, If he did he would have seen that I have spent several thousands of dollars there since the beginning of the year. Being an avid bourbon drinker/collector, it's easy to do. This store does have a good selection. great (floor rep) customer service and good prices, but if you are looking for more than five bucks off from time to time for making large purchases and your loyalty, there are many other liquor stores in Denver to chose from.
The variety is mind boggling. Wines organized alphabetically and by country of origin. Great variety of liquors, liqueurs, mixers, and chilled beers...lots of hard-to-find dark beers too! Prices vary from wine specials to super high end. (Yes, they have Cristal.) Overall, they are overpriced. They recently added trendy pastas, sauces, olive oils, etc... also overpriced. You can often catch distributors' reps in the store to educate you on products and make recommendations. Staff knowledge is hit n' miss. All that being said, this is still my favorite place for wine and spirits...no BevMo here.
This place has it all. Top shelf wine to Top notch customer service. It's shelves have the liquor to liqueur, it holds bottles that fill the wine with class or the one shot shooters shot glass. It's my one stop liquor shop.
Enormous selection of beer, wine, and spirits, from local, national and international sources. Really friendly and helpful staff, with generally good prices, make this place is one of the best liquor stores I've ever been to.
Apple Jack Liquor was AMAZING!! These people know what they are doing. They have free delivery, an amazing return policy and even better staff. Lisa knew exactly what to order for my wedding and was available for all of my questions. I would happily work with them again.
